Sindh Revenue Board Contributed to the Flood Relief Fund:. Currently, Pakistan is affecting a great loss of important human causalities along with infrastructure damage due to floods. In this difficult time, everyone has started to contribute donations.

Millions of Pakistanis have been affected by floods in the country and hundreds have been martyred. This is the reason that the Government of Pakistan has declared a national emergency.

Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has also participated in this campaign to compensate the peoples of Pakistan who have been affected by this natural disaster.

Sindh Revenue Board Contributed to the Flood Relief Fund.

For this purpose, Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has contributed Rs 4.7 million to the flood relief fund. This contribution of the Sindh Revenue Board is a gesture to show solidarity with the flood affectees.

Current Situation of Flood in Pakistan in 2022

  • The death toll from ravaging monsoon floods in Pakistan crossed 1,000
  • many countries, like Qatar and Iran, pledged emergency support
  • Death toll since June has crossed 1,033 with 119 people dying in the last 24 hours, Aljazeera news reported,
  • Very high-level flooding in some areas alongside the Kabul and Indus Rivers, particularly in Nowshera in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province and Kalabagh and Chashma in Punjab province.
  • Provinces of Balochistan, KP, and Sindh in the south were affected a lot,
  • At least 347 people died in Sindh followed by Balochistan (238) and KP (226).

How to Contribute to Prime Minister Flood Relief Fund 2022

You can contribute to PM flood relief fund 2022 through:

  • Contribution in Flood Relief fund through SMS
  • Contribution in Flood Relief fund through Bank Transfer

Contribution in Flood Relief fund through SMS

A short code of 9999 has been issued for contributing donations to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. A notification to this effect has been issued by Pakistan Telecommunication on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

By sending an SMS ‘Fund’ on 9999, the citizens can donate ten rupees to the relief fund. All the cellular operators will inform the National Disaster Management Authority about the donations collected in this way.

Contribution in Flood Relief fund through Bank

Overseas Donors

Wire Transfers

Overseas Pakistani can donate to the fund through wire transfer in the fund account maintained by their respective banks. All they have to do is to ask their banks to debit their accounts and transmit a specific amount to the fund. The banks transfer such amounts to the fund account at SBP through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system.

Alternate Channels

Overseas Pakistanis can also donate through Money Service Bureaus (MSBs), Money Transfer Operators (MTOs), and Exchange Houses (EHs) under the mechanism for receiving home remittances. The banks also transfer such amounts to the fund account at SPB through the RTGS system.

Domestic Donors

Cash Deposit

Citizens can deposit cash in the fund by visiting their nearest bank branch. The banks transfer the overall cash received to the fund account at SBP on a daily basis.

Crossed Cheque Deposit

Citizens can drop crossed cheques in the name of the fund in their respective bank’s drop box. Banks have ensured drop box facilities at their branches across the country. The banks debit the customer’s account and transfer such amounts to the fund account at SBP on a daily basis.

Alternate Channels

Citizens can also use internet banking, mobile banking, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), and mobile wallets to donate to the fund account through Inter-Bank Fund Transfer Facility (IBFT)/Raast.
