E-Payment System Introduced for PPSC Online Job Applications
Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) spokesperson introduced that the e-payment system recently developed for online job applications for PPSC. This has been done with the help of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
How to Use e-payment system for PPSC Job Applications
From 1 August 2022 onwards, when you will apply on PPSC’s online job portal, applicants will get a 17-digit Payment Slip ID (PSID). They can then pay the fee against that PSID No through:
- ATM,
- Internet Banking,
- Mobile Banking,
- Microfinance Banks, or
- over the counter of the nearest 1Link member banks and branches.
After paying the fee, PPSC will send a confirmation message via SMS and email to the applicants. After such confirmation, applicants will be able to further process and complete their job applications on PPSC job portal.
It will expedite the job application process. It will also eliminate fake and unpaid challan forms as well as help automate receipt verifications.
