What is FBR Lucky Draw?
To encourage documentation of the economy and increase the tax net FBR initiated a step by integration of Point of Sales (POS) of tier 1 retailers with the FBR system. Under this step, any invoice which is generated through this integrated software is shared with FBR in real-time. It will help both to increase revenue and transparency.
Federal board of Revenue (FBR) started a lucky draw scheme to motivate the general public to purchase goods from those tier 1 retailers integrated with the FBR POS invoice system. The first prize of Rs.1 Million will be given to the winner who buys from the retailers integrated with the POS machines. There will be four prizes / third prize valued at Rs.250,000 each, and two prizes / second prize of Rs.500,000 each. Third prize – there will also be a long list of general prizes of Rs 50,000 each for 1,000 persons. There will be total prizes of Rs. 53 million for the winners who’ll admit POS- integrated bills for their purchases.
FBR Held the First Computerized Draw of the POS Prize Scheme on 15th January 2022. Now, on the 15th of every month, FBR lucky draw is conducted and winners are announced.
How can I Participate in FBR Lucky Draw?
There is a very simple way to Register FBR Lucky Draw:
- Buy anything from POS Retailer Shop/Super Store/ Any Shop
- You will be given a printed slip
- Type in Your SMS as: INV(space)CNIC(space)FBR Invoice Number
- Send it to 9966
- You will receive back confirmation message either (Verified or not verified)

People can also verify FBR POS Invoice Slip and send an entry in the FBR Lucky Draw by following the process as;
- Download the Asaan Tax App from the Play Store
- Click on the Verify Invoice
- Scan QR Code
- Or Enter FBR Inv Number

As steps explained that how every Person can participate in this FBR Lucky Draw by verifying their sales tax invoice on Tax Asaan App or by sending a message at 9966. Then, FBR sends a confirmation message after verification of the invoice and then includes it in FBR POS lucky draw.
