Registration facility with Business Registration Portal and FBR in Punjab under One Window.

The Federal Board of Revenue and the Punjab Information Technology Board have taken a very important step to promote the business and facilitate the taxpayers by introducing the one window facility under which the business people and the Association of Persons simultaneously register with the Punjab Government and with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). FBR explained this all in a press lease.

Due to this facility, the applicant will not have to visit the FBR field office or website and will be registered with the Punjab Business Portal and FBR simultaneously. The FBR has informed about the procedure that first the applicant will send the application for registration on the business registration portal of Punjab Information Technology Board (https://business.punjab.gov.pk/. Business Registration Portal).

After registering on, the system will check the registration profile of the applicant with FBR data. If the applicant not registered with FBR, the system will automatically register the applicant with FBR. The message will be sent on email of the applicant for verification. If the applicant is already registered with the FBR, the registration data will be shared with the Business Registration Portal.

This automated registration process will reduce the hassles of taxpayers and boost business.
