Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has appointed to Mr Asim Ahmad as new chairman FBR. He was Member IT previously at BS-21 officer of Inland Revenue Service. Mr Asim Ahmad has also been given the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Revenue Division.
Mr Asim Ahmad new chairman FBR
As per Establishment Division’s Notification No. 34/1/2018-E-1 dated 09.04.2021, Mr. Asim Ahmad, has left the charge of the post of Member (IT), Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad on April 9 and takes the charge of the post of Chairman, FBR under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, by the approval of Federal Government.

Additional charge given to Mr Asim Ahmad on the post of Secretary, Revenue Division on 09.04.2021 for the period of three months or Until regular incoming postings, whichever is earlier.
