FBR official website down and not responding

The official website of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is not available online for the past few hours. As creating problems for income tax return filers as the last date is 30th September 2021 for online submission of income tax returns for tax year 2021 and sales tax returns for the month of July, 2021.

The official website https://www.fbr.gov.pk/ is not available online for the past few hours as the site is continuously not responding and showing massages of “This site can’t be reached“.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) while doing a tweet on his official twitter account of @FBRSpokesperson at 6;27 AM on 14th August, 2021 communicated that “FBR website is temporarily down for scheduled maintenance. We thank you for your patience.”

Taxpayers are also facing problem for payment of taxes and duties because they are unable to prepare tax challans on their other official website also http://e.fbr.gov.pk/ due to website down on scheduled maintenance. It is important to mention here that taxpayers have facility to online submission of tax returns along with online payment of taxes and duties.
