Major Internet Service Providers Across Pakistan Faced Internet Down Today

Major Internet Service Providers Across Pakistan Faced Internet Down Today and internet service remained disable for many hours. This major Internet blackout in Pakistan started around 7 am, Major Internet Service Providers, for example, (Pakistan Telecommunication Limited) PTCL, Stormfiber supported by Cybernet, Ufone, and Mobilink Jazz went down today.

PTCL informed the public via tweeter today morning that due to heavy rains and floods PTCL’s optical fiber network experienced technical faults. Due to this, in Northern and Central regions of country faced internet shut down.

Major Internet Service Providers Across Pakistan Faced Internet Down Today.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority also informed via tweet that, issue has been reported in data networks between south and north which is causing internet connectivity issues. PTA also said, “This issue is being investigated. PTA is monitoring the situation and further updates will be shared”.

Major internet connectivity problems with fiber cables happened in the areas of Kech, Panjgoor, and Gwadar, where bad weather, floods, and heavy rain have caused fiber cuts that are still being fixed by internet providers.
