FBR revised commercial and residential property rates in Lahore

FBR revised commercial and residential property rates in Lahore. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has revised immovable property rates in Lahore. It is a downward revision in the valuation of property in Lahore. This immovable property is located in 1,271 areas and towns of Lahore. FBR has taken this step to bring them at par with the district (DC) rates from January 1, 2023.

For this purpose, the FBR issued SRO 2300(I)/2022 here on Tuesday. Moreover, the FBR has also superseded SRO 348(1)12022, dated March 2, 2022. This revision in property rates has been done for both the residential and commercial properties in Lahore.

The Board had revised downward the values of residential and commercial immovable properties located in different areas of Lahore to fix the fair market value of immovable properties.

This notification shall come into force with effect from January 1, 2023.
