What is Diversity Visa (DV Lottery Visa)?

According to The Immigration Act of 1990, USA established the Diversity Visa lottery (DV) program, where immigrant visas would be announced in an annual lottery.

This DV lottery program authorizes to citizens of countries with low immigration rates to the United States; to get chance to apply for a U.S. immigrant visa.

How to apply for Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery Visa Program?

If you want to apply for a DV lottery visa program of United States, then you have to perform the following steps:

How to check Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery 2023 Results

If an applicant wants to check status of DV lottery visa result, then he needs to follow the Electronic Diversity Visa (E-DV) website.

Here all updates given by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, U.S. Department of State, to give information to all entrants if their online registration was selected or not.

To check the status, applicant will require to enter his confirmation number, which he obtained when he filled out his entry form, to check your entry status.

It is important here to note that if you have lost your confirmation number, then you will not be able to check the status of your entry. Department will not be able to resend the confirmation number to you.

The Department of State will not dispatch notification letters and also will not inform selectees by email. Even U.S. embassies and consulates will not provide a list of selectees. So, the Entrant Status Check on the E-DV website is the ONLY way to get information about the selectees of their selection.
