How to get an Import & Export License In Pakistan (Pakistan Single Window Act 2021) ?

The Pakistan Single Window system started by rolling out in July 2021 with Phase 1 estimated for completion in June 2022. Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is presently have started and offering:

  • online customs registration,
  • integration of the commercial banks with PSW system,
  • online processing of import permits,
  • and Phyto-sanitary certificates on import, export of agricultural commodities by the Department of Plant Protection.

More than 44,000 traders are now currently registered with such system and by using it they can access the WeBOC system as well as available services.

For this purpose, Government of Pakistan in order to encourage people to engage in import and export business, have introduced Pakistan Single Window Act 2021.

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is going to replace WeBoc and all trade transactions will be handling in Pakistan Single Window (PSW) by all stake holders i.e

  • customers (Importers and Exporters),
  • Banks,
  • Custom
  • SBP etc.

In first phase, all trade customers have to register themselves with Pakistan Single Window (PSW).

What is Weboc Login Registration ?

WeBOC is locally developed, digital and web-based computerized customs goods clearance system. It is facilitating end to end automated customs goods clearance at import and export stages.

Weboc system was developed jointly by the Pakistan Customs and Pakistan Revenue Automation (Private) Limited (PRAL). It was firstly launched on trial basis at Port Muhammad Bin Qasim in 2011. It is playing a vital role to facilitate not only traders but also custom officers and agents.

This digital system is assisting the traders, custom officers, and agents. It has made the filing process very easy. It also helped out in online Goods declaration, quick clearances and fast tracking system.

List of Documents Required for Weboc Login Registration – for Private Limited Company

  • Original CNIC copies of all Directors of the Private company
  • Nadra Verification receipts of all Directors (in original)
  • Original Income Tax Certificate issued by FBR (FBR NTN Inquiry)
  • Sales Tax Registration Certificate of Company (In Original)
  • Original Incorporation certificate of Company issued by SECP
  • Original Memorandum and Articles of Association duly attested by SECP
  • Form II, Form 29, Form A duly certified by SECP
  • Original evidence of Ownership of property or rent agreement of Business premises along with photocopy of CNIC of Landlord
  • Current Income tax return submitted with FBR
  • Active Taxpayer filing Status with FBR
  • Sales Tax Active Taxpayer filing Status with FBR
  • Original Chamber of Commerce license
  • Last original Electricity bill paid of Business Premises
  • Last original PTCL bill of Business Premises
  • Undertaking on Stamp Paper valuing Rupee 100
  • Last six months Bank statement of having minimum Balance of Rs. 300,000/-
  • Original Bank Account Maintenance Certificate of the Company
  • Acknowledgment of Cash deposit of Rs: 500/- Bank receipt (Original) or Pay order of Rs. 500 in favor of Director Customs
  • Director’s personal visit at customs office with visiting card and Passport size Photographs.
  • Original Board Resolution for Weboc Login Registration

Documents Required for Registration of Weboc Login – for Sole Proprietor

  • Original CNIC of Sole Proprietor
  • Verification from NADRA (original)
  • NTN Certificate issued by FBR (Original)
  • STRN Certificate issued by FBR (Original)
  • Documents of ownership of business premises or the rent agreement along with photocopy of CNIC of landlord
  • Valid Chamber Of Commerce Certificate
  • Active Taxpayers List status for Income Tax and Sales Tax
  • Utility bill of Business premises
  • Undertaking as Per Format on Rs. 100/- Stamp Paper
  • Filled Registration Form of WeBOC
  • Last six months Bank statement of the business account
  • Bank Maintenance Certificate of the Business account
  • Bank acknowledgment receipt of Cash deposit Rs. 500/-
  • Personal appearance with visiting card.
  • Request letter for issuance of WEBOC ID on cover letter

Documents Required for Weboc Registration – for Partnership Firm Business

  • Original CNIC of all the Partners
  • Nadra verification of CNIC of all Partners
  • Original NTN Certificate
  • STRN Certificate (Original)
  • Original Partnership deed and Form C
  • Ownership document of business premises or rent agreement with landlord CNIC copy
  • Valid Chamber Of Commerce and Industries Certificate
  • Active Taxpayers List Income Tax and Sales Tax
  • Undertaking as Per Format on Rs. 100/- Stamp Paper
  • Filled Registration Form of WeBOC
  • Last six months’ Bank statement of the business account.
  • Business Bank account Maintenance certificate
  • Bank receipt of Cash deposit Rs. 500/-
  • The appearance of the Partner personally with the visiting card.
  • Request letter for issuance of WEBOC ID on official letter Head
  • Authority letter on the Rs. 100/- stamp paper from the other partners
