Is there any Chance of Date Extension of ITR Filing?
Today is 30th September 2022, the last date for filing annual income tax returns for Salaried, Individuals and Sole Proprietors. Still, FBR has not extended the due date for filing tax returns. But FBR will likely extend the deadline for filing income tax returns.
This year on the 30th September 2022, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has not announced any of the extended timings of working hours of the field formations of FBR. Further, no extended hours for deposit of tax at banks. It is reason that there is a possibility of extension in the filing of income tax returns for some extended period.
