Latest News about Extension in Last Date of Filing Tax Returns 2022

According to media news, In a press conference Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar announced a one-month extension in filing a tax return for the tax year 2022.

The last date for filing a tax return was 30th September 2022. A new date has been announced to be 31st October 2022.

An extension in Date was demanded by all the stakeholders from FBR. The flood situation was one of the major reasons. However, no of tax filers this year up to 30th September 2022 was also less as compared to the previous year.
