Government Says not to Pay Electricity Bills and Wait for New:. Recent Electricity Bills of August 2022 in Pakistan has worried to the public. Because, Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA) was added in the electricity bills which inflated the bills amount a lot.

Now, government has told the public that do not pay the electricity bills if consumption is fewer than 200 units and new / revised electricity bills will be issued with reduced Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA). Miftah Ismail announced this in a press conference.

He said that cost of electricity bills have increased for the month of August 2022 because during the months of June and July 2022 more electricity was generated from the expensive fuel.

Miftah Ismail also informed that if some public has paid the electricity bills for the month of August 2022 then they will be compensated in the electricity bills of September. Deadline for the payment of electricity bills have also been increased to 31st August 2022.
