CDA Soon Launching Electric Buses for Public in Islamabad

CDA Soon Launching Electric Buses for Public in Islamabad. In Islamabad, Capital Development Authority (CDA) is going to launch electric buses as the public transport facility. According to media news, electric buses will be available on 6 different public transport routes. Charging facilities will also be provided for the buses.

Tendered will be opened by CDA for bus consultancy on 12th October. The first batch of electric buses will come to Islamabad by the end of December. For this purpose, CDA will build three base stations for e-buses.

The launch of electric buses has been on CDA’s agenda for many years. Testing these buses also began in the twin cities a few days ago.
