Customers complaints: HBL Bank on Top of the list

Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is at the forefront of failing to satisfy customers with its services as most complaints against the bank were lodged in the Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman) Pakistan (Federal Ombudsman (Pakistan)).

The annual report for the year 2020 issued by the office of Wafaqi Mohtasib last week shows that the largest number of complaints against any bank was received against Habib Bank Limited (HBL), which is 23.37 percent of the total complaints received during the year.

The office of the Wafaqi Mohtasib (Federal Ombudsman) received 22,750 complaints during the year. The banking customers lodged about 5,317 complaints against HBL Bank during the year. The banking customers complained more dissatisfaction during the current year as the percentage of complaints lodged against the bank out of the total complaints have increased during the year.

The Banking Mohtasib Pakistan received a sum of 14,587 complaints against the all banks during 2019. While duirng the same year the complaints lodged against the HBL Bank were 2,511 which was 17.21 percent of the total complaints lodged during the year.
