The government of Balochistan has installed online tax collection system. This online tax system will help to boost the the revenue receipts and will promote tax culture in the biggest province of Pakistan.
During a meeting held for signing of agreement for installation of online tax collection system. Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi informed that the this step would not only help taxpayers in the Balochistan. This will also bring a positive change and transparency in the tax system.
“Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi said the finance department had introduced the online system to bring transparency to collection of provincial receipts.“
“The installation of online tax collection system will eventually bring sustainable reforms in revenue generation of the provincial government,” he explained.

The provincial minister said that the old system of tax collection is now digitized to enable people to pay taxes to the government of Balochistan from any segment of the country.
He further said that sales tax on services would be collected in the first stage under the system of alternative delivery channels which would facilitate to a great extent to the people of Baluchistan. Disbursement of taxes would now be possible through internet banking, mobile banking, ATMs, easy paisa and other modern means available. Such online tax collection system will also help in spreading “ease of doing business” facilities.
