What is the Solution for Becoming Active Tax Filer 2024. All tax filers who have not filed their income tax returns for tax year 2023 or filed it after due date, they all are out of Active Taxpayers list from 1st March 2024.
What is the Solution?
i) File tax return for tax year 2023, if not filed already and pay ATL fine/penalty of Rs1,000 for individual and salaried class, Rs10,000 for Partnership businesses and Association of Persons (AOP) and Rs20,000 for Private/Public Limited Company.
ii) If the return for tax year 2023 was filed after due date, now you have to just pay the above mentioned fine/penalty for becoming active tax filer in FBR.
How to Check Active Taxpayers Status?
You can check ATL status online by following methods:
- Check your ATL status by sending message to 9966 by mentioning ATL CNIC number.
- You can check your status online on FBR visit https://e.fbr.gov.pk
- You can download ATL List from FBR website and can check your name from the list provided by FBR.
