Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has decided to discontinue Cultus car. According to media reports, Cultus will be officially discontinued in the upcoming months.
According to media Reports, the sales of Cultus car were affected by the sales of Alto and Swift. Suzuki aiming to promote Swift more actively and increase the sales of Alto.
Statistical Data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) shows that Pak Suzuki Motors sold over 9,800 units of Alto in March this year, 5,000 in April and 5,400 in May. These figures indicating that sale is decreasing massively.
It is important here that Pak Suzuki Motors has not given any official statement regarding this step. Pak Suzuki Motor’s response will be published once the company issues a formal statement in this regard.
Previously, the new Cultus was launched in 2017. Pak Suzuki Motors launched three variants of the hatchback; VX, VXR, and VXL. Since its launch, Cultus has been dominating the 1000cc category in the Pakistan market.
Cultus car features airbags, power steering, power windows, immobilizer, and keyless entry. A few months back, Pak Suzuki Motors faced delay of production of Cultus after the company suffered a shortage of airbags.
