National Job Portal
National Job Portal launched in November, 2020 by Prime Minister, Imran Khan. It is an another step towards the vision of Digital Pakistan.
Around 2 million jobs are created in Pakistan each year. Many of which are unofficial and undocumented. This portal will provide a platform where all government based departments will interact with the job seekers by using AI tools.
How it will work ?
National Employment Exchange (NEX) tool authorized by government to use. It will be a consortium of public, private as well as overseas institutions and government for provision of job opportunities to the young generation.
Overseas jobs will be posted by:
- Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and
- Human Resource Development (OP&HRD),
- Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (BOE),
- OverSeas Employment Corporation (OEC) and
- Pakistan Overseas Employment Promoters Association (POEPA).
National Job Portal contains a special Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool. When a candidate will apply through his resume on the portal, It will help to match the candidate’s profile with the relevant other jobs available.
Different from other online Job portals
National Job Portal is different form other available private sector job portals, such like Rozee.pk. Technical staff supported by TVET is a big edge to this portal. It will be a big platform for jobs with the help of public departments and overseas labor department will use the portal to post jobs.
Secondly, it is equipped with the Hi-TECH artificial intelligence tool. With the help of this tool the analysis of posted data by job seekers is possible and used for further assistance of both job providers and job seekers.
